CCTV Time Version 3.0

This version adds time zone support, allowing users to manually override their local time zone, in addition to quality of life improvements, specifically during the "Save Record" process.

Quality of life changes:

• Updated date & time picker. Clock dial removed in favour of number sliders which allow for more precise control over time selection.
• Address fields expanded in the "Save Record" form. This also includes a "History" flag which will permit the application to remember the last address, excluding the unit number. This will reduce the amount of repetitive input required when saving results. All data is saved locally to your device.
• Update prompt added. Triggered when updates to the web application are pushed. Previously users would have to manually refresh several times to clear their cache and retrieve the update.
• Added "Install App" button when application is run in a web browser. This has been added to encourage users to run the application in "application" mode which offers a better user experience. On Android devices this button should prompt an auto install. On iOS manuall installation is required and instructions will be displayed.

Time Zone Support:

• All time results now contain time zone information (i.e. PST, EST) which was previously omitted.
• Ability to manually set a time zone and override local time zone added. This may be of use to users who operate in multiple time zones.

Other Updates:

• Additional enhancements to DST warnings, warning also now added to record exports.

Updates - March 2025

Implemented some minor interface changes. Cancel and Confirm buttons re-ordered as well as the "Cancel" and "Save" buttons on various pages and menus.

Offline Mode

April 13, 2024

The most common request for CCTV Time has been the implementation of an "offline" mode. As of April 13, 2024 we have implemented offline functionality by enabling "progressive web application" features.

To make this experience even better on a mobile device, remember to "Add website to home screen" to add a short cut to the application.

CCTV Time Version 2.0

November 16, 2023

This is the first significant update to CCTV Time since it was launched in January of 2023. This update contains several new features such as:

Save your time calculations:

You can now save your time offset calculations which will appear in the Saved tab on the top navigation. This provides the ability to:

• Add a case number or name, address and notes.
• View your saved results to access full entry details.
• Edit your saved results to rename or add additional notes.
• Populate the Review tab using your saved results with a single click.

Review

A new Review tab has been added. Use this feature while reviewing CCTV footage with a known time offset to assist when you need to convert time between actual time and DVR time.

Export your records:

Version 2.0 allows you to export your saved records to a spread sheet or email it to yourself. Simply select which entries you wish to export and generate a spread sheet with the click of a button.
